This one I didn't buy, but it's cute!

Dangit!

It is the weirdest thing, but one of the children (only when we aren't home as far as I can tell), is writing on everything. Yet, I don't think - other than the couch- any of them would do such a thing they are all too old, aren't they? Landon is just not a colorer anyway. But one day I found scribbles all over a kitchen drawer, I got most of them off, but the next day there was pen all over the dishwasher, two different incidents, seemingly out of the blue. Weird. Anyway, luckily that pen came off. A while previous to that there was scribbling all over the couch, which made more sense because it was something a child might do while sitting there in front of the T.V. You know?
However, these things are discouraging.

First an onery post, not shopping, but wanting

I would like this cupboard door replaced by he who slammed it in a fit of anger, thank you.

I would like this wall replaced with a banister (next 3 pictures). It would open up the space a lot even though it really doesn't create more space: [also by he who knocked holes in it, thank you - by the way, I was pretty proud of myself for repairing these holes.]

I would like the flooring replaced (as no one finds it important to follow shoe and food rules, and the kitchen needs to be swept more regularly to keep mess from spreading I suppose): [This time I am the one who set a hot pan on the floor (1st picture) - to help a child with something? I can't remember for sure. Sorry.]

I would like this following wall fixed and painted (much less to do if the upper half of wall is removed as stated previously). And yes, these holes are largely my fault for throwing toys down the stairs - I no longer do this, and hopefully won't pick up the habit again once the children are moved downstairs:

Also this red wall, from children wear and tear:

And some nice stretch to fit type covers for my couches (which will be replaced someday):

There are more, but that is a good start. The other things must wait (definitely) until we have basement bedrooms ready for kids. And you all know about the basement in progress...
